The course allows students to gradually gain practical experience in the fields of clinical biochemistry, microbiology, immunology and haematology, or in special fields (e.g. genetics, pathobiochemistry, clinical pathology, assisted reproduction, radionuclear methods). Students will learn about the laboratories of medical institutions and their functioning, gain an overview of graduate employment opportunities and acquire special laboratory skills to apply in their professional careers.

Předmět umožňuje studentům během dvou let studia postupně získat praktické zkušenosti v oborech klinické biochemie, mikrobiologie, imunologie a hematologie, nebo ve speciálních oborech (např. genetika, patobiochemie, klinická patologie, asistovaná reprodukce, radionukleární metody). Student se seznámí s laboratořemi zdravotnických zařízení a jejich fungováním, získá přehled o možnostech uplatnění absolventů a získá speciální laboratorní dovednosti, které uplatní ve své profesní kariéře.

During the professional practice VI of 120 hours, the student works as a graduate worker in specialized facilities for medical and preventive care. The aim is to deepen theoretical and practical skills and to gain experience with the organisation of the workplace and work, with the staff and with the equipment.

Během odborné praxe VI v délce 120 hodin student student pracuje obdobně jako vysokoškolský pracovník ve specializovaných zařízeních léčebně preventivní péče. Jeho cílem je prohloubení teoretických i praktických dovedností a získání zkušeností s organizací pracoviště a práce, s personálním a s přístrojovým zázemím.
