The subject provides with information about substances and drugs of natural origin concerning their structure, pharmacological activities, and applications. Attention is also paid to adverse effects of natural drugs, as well as to the risks associated with the abuse of psychoactive natural substances and drugs. The subject allows students to gain basic orientation in the wide area of substances and drugs of natural origin.
