The aim of the subject is to apprise students theoretically and practically with preparation, control and clinical applications of radiopharmaceuticals. Attention is also paid to the use of radiolabeled compounds in research and other areas. An excursion to department of nuclear medicine is also involved in the teaching. Themes: Structure of atom, Decay schemes, Interaction of ionizing radiation with biological systems, Production of radiopharmaceuticals, Quality control of radiopharmaceuticals, Clinical applications of radiopharmaceuticals.

1. Attendance of introducing seminar aimed at calculations related to radioactivity . 

2. Attendance of practical session and successful accomplishment of exercise on preparation and control of radiopharmaceuticals.

2. Attendance of the excursion to department of nuclear medicine in hospital.
