Mastering of anatomic terminology; understanding of basic general morphology, acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge of the anatomic structure of the locomotion apparatus, further of the gastrointestinal, respiratory, circulatory and lymphatic systems with relation to their function; understanding of imaging techniques (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) and their clinical application; variations and embryonic aspects. Understanding and practice of ethical principles.

Credit:

Credit of Anatomy I will by given to the student who fulfilled his/her attendance requirements and has passed his/her examinations in individual systems. EXAMINATIONS: Students have to undergo all microtests in the course of practical classes and they have to pass minimally 60% of these tests and oral examinations. CREDIT EXAMINATIONS: Spot test of locomotor system and written test of internal organs. Both tests is necessary to undergo succesfully (two retests are allowed).  ATTENDANCE: the students are required to attend all practical classes, absence due to illness or other personal reasons has to be documented by a doctor`s certificate or by other official confirmation. Unexcused absences are not allowed.

  2. General osteology. Bones of the upper limb. (Slizova 1)
  3. General arthrology. Joints of the upper limb. (Slizova 2)
  4. Muscles of the upper limb. (Slizova 3)
  5. General angiology, introduction to the PNS. Vessels and nerves of the upper limb. (Slizova 3)
  6. Bones and joints of the lower limb. (Slizova 2)
  7. Muscles of the lower limb.Vessels and nerves of the lower limb. (Slizova 3)
  8. Topografic anatomy of the upper and lower limb, clinical tips. (Hajek 2)

  16. Heart - X-ray, dissection. Aortic arch, arteries of the head and neck.
  17. Arteries of the thorax, abdominal cavity and pelvis.
  18. Venous system, fetal circulation, lymphatic system.
  19. Respiratory system: nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, upper respiratory tract, larynx.
  20. Trachea, bronchial tree. Lungs, pleura, developmental abnormalities of the respiratory tract. Situs viscerum of the thoracic cavity, demonstration.
  21. Digestive system, oral cavity, salivary glands, pharynx, retropharyngeal and parapharyngeal space.
  22. Esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine. Liver, extrahepatic bile ducts and gallbladder, pancreas, spleen.
  23. Peritoneum, development and final organization, situs viscerum of the abdominal cavity, demonstration, developmental abnormalities of the GIT.
  24. REVIEW EXAMINATION OF THE HEART, CIRCULATORY, RESPIRATORY, AND GIT SYSTEM. Credit.
