A new study with an expected duration of 2 years (the subject is enrolled repeatedly, i.e. 8 credits in total).
Blood sampling takes place from autumn to spring at predetermined intervals.
The levels of vitamin D will be monitored for the first year without supplementation.

Basic concepts, discovery and history of vitamin D utilization.
The beginnings of the use of the vitamin D effects - solar and UV therapy. Vitamin D metabolism, reference values.
Vitamin D and the immune system. Use of vitamin D in sport.
Blood collection and determination of vitamin D levels. Design of the cholecalciferol supplementation. Using cholecalciferol according to the supplementation model + blood sampling at planned dates.
Correspondence method - evaluation of total vitamin D levels, levels of monitored metabolites and supplementation effects.
Course completion requirements -
Last update: Ing. Lenka Křikavová (14.10.2021)

Passing the supplementation model, including blood samples collection, passing a course on Moodle, completing the test.
