Practical classes on the patient simulator allow repeated practising of various interventions ( intubation,
cannulation, catheterization, puncture ...) and hence their learning. Patient simulator is also able to credibly
demonstrate various clinical conditions and the case studies in which students can train their diagnostic and
therapeutic thinking. Practical training on the simulator does not replace examination of patients, but the
techniques and ways of thinking that students will train on the simulator can advantageously be applied to real
patients in the hospital. This will help students to become better physicians.

Výuka na pacientském simulátoru umožňuje opakované zkoušení různých zákroků (intubace, kanylace,
cévkování, punkce, ... ) a tím i jejich naučení. Pacientský simulátor zároveň zvládne věrohodně předvést různé
klinicky závažné stavy a kazuistiky, na kterých studenti mohou bez rizika cvičit své diagnosticko-terapeutické
uvažování. Praktická výuka na simulátoru nenahrazuje výuku na pacientech, naopak techniky a způsoby
uvažování, které si studenti nacvičí na simulátoru, pak mohou s výhodou aplikovat na skutečné pacienty v
nemocnici a být jim tak lepšími lékaři.
