The aim of the course is to enrich the teaching of embryology with an overview of the most common developmental defects of individual organs
systems and congenital syndromes. The lecture introduces the basic concepts of teratology, as well as an overview
teratogens, screening during pregnancy and methods of prenatal diagnosis. Developmental defects of CNS are mentioned,
heart, urinary and gastrointestinal disorders, neck, chest and abdomen defects and skeletal defects.
