Anatomical corrosion casts provide 3-D insights into the arrangement of hollow structures and organ cavities at
both the macro- and microscopic levels. The elective subject Corrosion casts in anatomy comprises 2 sessions (by
3-hour practicals). Within the first the participants will be practically introduced the corrosion casting method, the
second seminar is held at the Dpt of Physics (University of West Bohemia, Pilsen) where a piece of a corrosion
cast will be examined and the principals of electrone microscopy will be demonstrated.
