Teaching follows the educational program in previous years, especially the issues of senses in the block of neurosciences. The seminars, problematic oriented differential diagnostics practical exercises and practice at the ward and in the outpatient segment give the students opportunity to get the experience with diseases of the ear, nose and paranasal sinuses, pharynx, larynx, neck and adjacent structures. Particular emphasis is placed on the issue of inflammatory diseases and their complications, abnormalities and tumors in ENT areas.
Aim of the course -
Last update: doc. MUDr. Martin Chovanec, Ph.D. (30.09.2017)

Main aim of the subject is to acquire adequate knowledge of otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery. The crucial issues represent diagnosis and therapy of the most important diseases of the ear, nose and paranasal cavities, pharynx, larynx, neck and adjacent structures. Among the aims of the subject is also understanding the position of the discipline and its role with other specialities in the differential diagnostics and complex care for the patients.
