The specific problems of contemporary medical ethics are discussed in this course. The seminars are devoted to current topics in medical ethics, the personality of the doctor, the issue of allocation of scarce resources in times of scarcity. Within the seminars, case studies and stimuli from real clinical practice are dealt with.

Knowledge of argumentation when solving new case studies, based on theoretical knowledge acquired during the past four years and on the basis of real case studies discussed during seminars.

Lecture and seminaries. The topics of the lectures correspond with topics of paralle modules. The theoretical knowledge received in the course of lectures is used in seminaries in attempts to solve some highly questionable or problematic cases and with the help of the teachers are further reflected.

Test.  Assessment: Pass/Fail.

The test contains topics that were discussed during the seminars in the 5th grade.
