The current course is focused on the anatomical areas presentation to second year medical students during their Summer Dissections course in the role of a demonstrator. Each demonstrator is required to present 2 topics - the guarantor will send out the sign up sheet in advance for the course participants to sign up. Each demonstrator will undergo knowledge check by the guarantor team prior to the Summer Dissections course, and will only be able to proceed in case their knowledge of the topic is considered sufficient. Each demonstrator is required to bring their own forceps.

The goal of the subject is to gain practical knowledge in Anatomy on the cadavers at the Department of Anatomy, 3. LF UK.

Upon passing the entry requirements (knowledge check by the guarantor team), the students have to demonstrate the anatomical structures on the cadavers during 2 teaching sessions of the Summer Dissections course in order to obtain credit. The students have to sign up for teaching in advance through an online form that is sent out to them by the course guarantor.

Practical demonstraton of given anatomical regions on the cadavers. The course will take place during the Summer Dissections of the English curriculum.

Day 1: The Head - topographical regions, muscles, vessels, nerves, dissection and presenation

Day 2: The Neck- topographical regions, muscles, vessels, nerves, dissection and presenation 

Day 3: The Thorax - topographical regions, muscles, vessels, nerves, dissection and presenation 

Day 4: The Abdomen - topographical regions, muscles, vessels, nerves, dissection and presenation 

Day 5: The Pelvis & The Back - topographical regions, muscles, vessels, nerves, dissection and presenation
