The course General Pathology deals with the morphologic manifestation of the the basic pathologic processes and their categorisation.

The aim of the course General Pathology is to make the students acquainted with the etiopathogenesis and development of the basic pathologic processes at the morphologic level, the terms denominating the proceses are precisely defined.

Conditions for the Credit from Module IIA

 To get the credit from Module IIA it is neccessary to have acknowledged all the courses that are the part of MIIA, i.e. general patology, pathologic physiology, mikrobiology, general pharmacology, genetic diseases and immunopathology. Acknowledgement must be signed in index as "fulfilled".

 

Conditions for the Final Exam in Module IIA

 The exam has a form of written test, containing the questions from all courses that belong to MIIA, alltogether 135 questions. To pass the exam at lest 65% of the questions from each course must be successfully answered. The second attempt  is again a written test. The third attempt is oral exam from the courses that were not answerred it the second test and from the courses that were nor passed in the first  attempt and in the second  attempt were not answerred to 80%.

 

Registration of "Subcredits" from the Courses of Module IIA

The subcredits from general patology, general pathophysiology, microbiology, general pharmacology, genetic diseases and immunopathology must be signed in index  as "fulfilled" plus date and at the some time registered in SIS. Students should kontrol the registration in SIS, without this record the entrance to the examination is not possible.

We recommend the students to bring the index with all records to the test examination, it enables to solve the potential problemes at the place.

 

Conditions for the Acceptance of the Studies realized in other Universities and abroad for the Module IIA

 To get the credit it is neccessary to submit the sylabus of lectues, seminars and practical trainings of each subject that is part of MIIA and confirmation, that they were successfully passed. The materiále after return shoud be submitted to the responsible teacher of each subject  for the judgement. For the credit in pathologic physiology it is neccessary to pass the test and elaborate the case reports. To acknowledge the exam it is neccessary to submit the protocol with the evaluation and the scale of evaluation.

If the study system is not fully compatible with the system of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine it is possible to acknowledge only part(s) of MIIA and pass the exam of the remaining duties.

It is  impossible to substitute individually the  courses of MIIA in summer semestr with the exception of genetic disorders? the substitution of this course is possible during the whole academic year after the negotitation with Doc. MUDr. Černá.
