During this semester is taught the histology and embryology of the central nervous system, sense organs, the fetal and perinatal period including placenta and embryonal membranes. The whole three-semestral cyclus is closed by a final exmanination of Module IA "Structure and function of the human body." The examination is oral.
Aim of the course -
Last update: prof. MUDr. Josef Stingl, CSc. (13.06.2008)

The aim of the teaching in the Summer semester of the 2nd year is to finish the learning of the embryology and histological structure of the human body and its organ systems. The disciplines histology and embryology are integral parts of the Module IA "Structure and function of the human body".

Teaching methods -
Last update: prof. MUDr. Josef Stingl, CSc. (13.06.2008)

The teaching process consists of the theoretical lectures and practical trainings, on which the histological specimens and electronograms of the objects studied are presented.

Requirements to the exam -
Last update: MUDr. Eva Maňáková, Ph.D. (18.01.2012)

The obtaining of the credit in this semester is conditioned and based 100% presence on practices and on good level of theoretical and practical knowledge of the development and histological structure of all tissues and organ systems studied. Credit is obtained on the base of slides knowledge proved on random selected slides, theory of them, morphology written tests, and the  workbook elaboration The questions on histology and embryology are an integrated part of the final examination in the Module IA "Structure and function of the human body", which is oral and commissional. All questions are published on the web sites of all four involved departments (anatomy, histology, physiology, biochemistry).
