The subject Cell and Molecular Biology as a part of a bachelor degree study program Public Health is taught in the 1st year of the study. The study gives basic knowledge on cell and molecular biology.
Aim of the course -
Last update: RNDr. Kamila Balušíková, Ph.D. (29.09.2017)

The aim of the subject is to provide students with basis of cell and molecular biology. The topics discussed in this subject are focused on structure and function of procaryotic and eucaryotic cells, DNA and RNA, processes such as replication, transcription, translation, regulation of these processes, furthermore on the topics cell cycle, apoptosis, cell transformation etc.
