Bases of descriptive statistics, probability, distributions , estimates and testing hypothesis are presented and usage computers for statistics. Many examples and exercises cover wide variety of different applications in medicine, epidemiology and public health.

The general nature of mathematical statistics is described and presented in lectures - planning experimenst, obtaining data, the analyzing, interpreting and drawing conlusions based on the data.
