COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course focuses on (i) specific vocabulary and grammar that should enable students to use and understand medical resources and (ii) preparing students to take and understand patient medical histories.

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

(i) Students are expected to develop and demonstrate the ability to take and comprehend medical histories from English speaking patients, and

(ii) by the end of the course, students are expected to demonstrate their ability to comprehend medical texts written English.
