Courses: 1) The basic scientific methodology. The student is acquainted with principles of scientific investigation, with the characteristics of variables, with the basic principles of measurement, testing of hypotheses and construction of scientific plan, 2) Epidemiology. The constituent part are: Descriptive, analytical and experimental epidemiology, epidemiologic approaches to evalution of health and disease, the trends and their employment in the analysis and prognosis of the assesment of the validity of diagnostic test, 3) Biostatistics. It comprises the basic insight in statistical evaluation of biological phenomena.
