Teaching follows the educational program in previous years, especially the issues of senses in the block of neuroscience. The seminars, problematic oriented differential diagnostics practical exercises and practice at the bed and in the outpatient segment are students acquainted with diseases of the ear, nose and VDN, pharynx, larynx, throat and adjacent structures. Particular emphasis is placed on the issue of inflammatory diseases and their complications, abnormalities and tumors in ENT areas.

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to acquire basic knowledge in the field of otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery. This is primarily the knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of the most important diseases of the ear, nose and nasal cavities of the nasal, pharynx, larynx, throat and adjacent structures. The aim is also to understand the position of the field and synergy with other expertise in differential diagnosis as well as complex care.

Teaching takes place in the form of seminars, problem-oriented differential diagnostics practical exercises and practice at bed and outpatient clinics.
The course is organized in block and is organized in synergy in both workplaces of 3rd Faculty of Medicine.
