The primary objective of the course is to acquire pathological and pathophysiological knowledge regarding trauma.
The secondary objective is to acquire diagnostic approaches for trauma.
Tertiary objective is to acquire therapeutic procedures in the treatment of patients after trauma.
The fourth objective is to enable students to acquire basic skills relating to the care of patients after trauma.

Primárním cílem předmětu je osvojení patologických a patofyziologických vědomostí týkajících se traumat.
Sekundárním cílem je osvojení diagnostických přístupů u traumat.

Jedná se o předmět založený na výuce probíhající v teoretických ústavech a na klinikách (ambulance, oddělení, operační sál) využívající všechny formy výuky exkluzivní (přednáška, seminář, stáž) i inkluzivní výuky (účast na ambulanci, oddělení a operačním sále).

Requirements to the exam

* Requirements for credit:
Credit be awarded at the 80% participation in controlen teaching (= 34 teaching units from 42).

* Examination conditions:
The exam is open only to students who meet the following requirements:
1. Successfully passing pathology exam.
2. Receiving credit in the subject OTA.
Test has the following attributes:
1. The random selection of 100 questions (20 pathology, 20 pathophysiology, 20 pharmacology, 40 other related fields).
2. Questions are selected of the forward-known issues. Each question has four answers the two of which are correct. Order of the answers at random computer selection changes.
Evaluation:
1. Question is recognized as one point, if student marks both the right answers and no wrong one.
2. Grade is awarded according to the same key for all four components of the test:
a. 18-20 resp. 36-40 correctly answered questions is “excellent”,
b. 16-17 resp. 32-35 correctly answered questions is “very good”,
c. 14-15 resp. 28-31 correctly answered questions is “good”,
d. Less than 14 resp. 28 correctly answered questions is “fail”,
e. Final grade is an average one of all four sub-scores (in the case of an average 1,5 or 2,5 decide the total grade mark achieved in the clinical part of the test).
3. Failure to achieve a student in any of the four parts of the test at least 14 resp. correctly answered 28 questions, the overall result of “insufficient” and must repeat the entire test. Resits are only two to those who failed in the regular test.

Information on the organization of the OTA exam:

1. The student shows up 10 minutes before the exam and shows his ISIC, then he gets an official tablet.

2. The student will be seated in the examination room with only the official tablet without his personal belongings, which will remain in the reserved area of the examination room.

3. Any manipulation with other electronic devices (cell phone, watch, flash drive, etc.) during the test itself means immediate termination of the test and a "failed" grade.

Zápočet je udělen za 80% účast na kontrolované výuce (= 34 výukových jednotek ze 42).

* Podmínky zkoušky:
Možnost přihlásit se ke zkoušce mají pouze studenti splňující tyto požadavky:
1. Úspěšné složení zkoušky z Patologie.
2. Udělení zápočtu z předmětu OTA.
Zkušební test má tyto atributy:
1. Náhodný počítačový výběr 100 otázek (20 patologie, 20 patologická fyziologie, 20 farmakologie, 40 z ostatních oborů).
2. Otázky jsou vybírány z předem známého souboru. Každá otázka má čtyři odpovědi, z nichž jsou dvě správně. Pořadí odpovědí se při náhodném počítačovém výběru mění.
Hodnocení:
1. Otázka je uznána za jeden bod, označí-li student obě správné odpovědi a žádnou nesprávnou.
2. Známka je udělena podle stejného klíče za všechny čtyři součásti testu:
a. 18-20 resp. 36-40 správně zodpovězených otázek „výborně“,
b. 16-17 resp. 32-35 správně zodpovězených otázek „velmi dobře“,
c. 14-15 resp. 28-31 správně zodpovězených otázek „dobře“,
d. méně než 14 resp. 28 správně zodpovězených otázek „neprospěl“),
e. definitivní známka je průměrnou známkou všech čtyř dílčích známek (v případě průměru 1,5 nebo 2,5 rozhodne o celkové známce známka dosažená v klinické části testu).
3. Nedosáhne-li student ve kterékoliv ze čtyř součásti testu alespoň 14 resp. 28 správně zodpovězených otázek, je celkové hodnocení „neprospěl“ a musí celý test opakovat. Opravné termíny jsou celkem dva možné.

Informace k organizaci zkoušky z OTA:

1. Student se dostaví 10 minut před zkouškou a prokáže se svojí ISIC, pak dostane oficiální tablet.

2. Usadí se na místo konání zkoušky pouze s oficiálním tabletem bez svých osobních věcí, které zůstanou ve vyhrazené části zkušební místnosti.

3. Jakákoliv manipulace s dalšími elektronickými zařízeními (mobil, hodinky, flash disk apod.) v průběhu psaní testu znamená okamžité ukončení zkoušky a hodnocení "neprospěl".
