In the first two weeks the students will learn the basic problems in endocrinology and metabolism with special emphasis on diabetes mellitus. In the third week, the most common diseases of oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, duodenum, intestines, biliary ducts and pancreas will be presented and diseases of the liver in the fourth week. The  fifth week of the course will be focused on surgery of gastrointestinal tract including topographic anatomy of abdominal cavity.
