This course is established for students of 3rd and 4th year. The students will be informed about health risks connected with work in certain branches (mining, metal-industry, agriculture, health services atc.). Assessment of the work and workplace exposition factors. The most common and the most serious occupational diseases and diseases connected with work. Health protection at work, safety and preventive measures.

The main task of the subject is to give students some basic information about health risks at in certain professions and to give them information about certain occupational diseases development, diagnostics, prevention and therapy. The other task is to clear up the methods of risk assessment at work and precautions in health protection. It is also important to inform students about basic laws connected with occupational health services.
