The course is intended for foreign medical students. It is related to the teaching of clinical disciplines in the 4th year. In the seminars, communication problems arising in teaching in hospital are discussed as well as the most common phrases in various situations and gaining speaking fluency in dialogue with the patient. The main aim is to develop the student's ability to communicate with patients and medical staff in a hospital setting. Students also deal with the linguistic aspect of case reports in Czech, work with basic medical documents (medical history, discharge report, etc.) and are introduced to the linguistic characteristics of these documents and professional text in general. Some classes are held in the Simulation Centre.
