Module Neurobehavioral Science I covers neurobehavioral diseases. In the fourth year (Neurobehavioral Sciences I) basic clinical aspects of neurology, neuroradiology, psychiatry, psychology and ENT are covered, as well as relevant topics from anatomy, pathology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.

Cílem předmětu Neurobehaviorální vědy I je komplexní seznámení s klinickými projevy a základy diagnostiky neurobehaviorální onemocnění doplněné o znalosti jejich etiopatogeneze. Multidiciplinární přístup se zapojením preklinických i klinických oborů poskytne studentům ucelené teoretické znalosti o projevech a příčinách neurobehaviorálních poruch, které se stanou základem pro získání a osvojení základních klinických dovedností v práci s pacienty s poruchami nervového systému, jako jsou odebrání anamnestických dat, provedení základního klinického vyšetření a stanovení syndromologické diagnózy.

Credit
In order to receive the credit students must participate in a defined number of units (see below)and be active during the clinical seminars with controlled presence and practical training.
To obtain credit students must present themselves with Student´s Certificate (see Links below) with subcredits in form of signatures from teachers of ENT, neurology, and psychiatry (psychiatry + pharmacology).
For ENT 80% presence is required.
For neurology 80% presence during practical training and during obligatory seminars (Clinical seminar with controlled presence), passing bedside practical exam on neurological examination and prooving basic knowledge on general neurology (syndromes and topical diagnosis) is required.
For psychiatry (covers psychiatry and 4 practices of pharmacology) 80% presence during practical training and obligatory clinical seminars with controlled presence is required. 

Credits are given on the last teaching unit (Psychiatry) by a teacher from psychiatry. 

Student´s Certificate will be available during the first unit of the course or you can download it from Vyuka.

Semináře a přednášky zaměřené na osvojení nezbytných znalostí, doplněné o e-learningové prezentace. Klinické semináře a praktická cvičení zaměřené na osvojení základních klinických dovedností, komunikace a práce s pacientem, odebírání anamnézy a klinického vyšetření.

 

1) Semináře, klinické semináře, praktika, stáže v pětitýdenním bloku: 59x (Probíhají v blocích v obou semestrech)

2) Celoročníkové přednášky: 9x (pouze jednou za akademický rok)

3)  Samostudium: 2x.

Prerequisites: In order to take part in the exam from Neurobehavioural Sciences I, the exam from General Foundations of Pathology and Pathophysiology must be passed successfully.
