The discipline is taught in the bachelor study program "Specialisation in the Health Care - Physiotherapy" in the first class. The contents of the discipline is the general and special anatomy, main attention is paid to the anatomy of the locomotor and nervous system. Histology is focused on the structure of cells, tissues, and organs. Main attention is paid to the locomotor system, too.
Aim of the course -
Last update: Mgr. Marek Ploc (05.11.2020)

The aim of the teaching of this descipline is to present the students the basic knowledge of the structure of the human body, necessary for their future professional activities in the physiotherapy. The chapters General and special anatomy are taught with a special regard on the function of the locomotor and nervous systems, in the extent corresponding to that of the subject General medicine. The discipline Histology will present the microscopic structure of the basic tissues, and with that of the muscles, bones, connective tissue and the nervous system, including the informations about their development. The practical trainings and seminars will pay the attention on the particular systems, above all on the locomotor and nervous systems, in a form of practical demonstrations and dessection trainings.

Teaching methods -
Last update: Mgr. Marek Ploc (05.11.2020)

The teaching process in anatomy will be organised in the form of lectures, seminars and and practical trainings, oriented on the demonstrations of individual organs and systems. The dissection course will be oriented on the study of the joints and muscular groups of the head, neck, trunk and upper and lower extremity. The teaching process in the Histology will consist of lectures and practical trainings, presenting the students the microscopic structure of the human body.

Requirements to the exam -
Last update: Mgr. Marek Ploc (05.11.2020)

Good level of theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the macroscopic and microscopic structure of the human body, with main orientation on the locomotor and nervous systems. The final examination will be organised in the verbal form.
