The course deals with important topics in the areas of research career opportunities and responsible conduct of research in addiction science. The course is part of the obligatory curricula for Ph.D. candidates in the doctoral study program at the Department of Addictology. The topics covered are: introduction to the responsible conduct of research in the addiction science, scientific misconduct, ethical issues related to research in addiction science, competitive interests and scientific integrity, careers in addiction science in the Czech Republic and abroad.
