Cycling for fun which allows you to discover Prague and surrounding areas. Once agreed by the students, trips are
organized for weekends as well. Instructions regarding participation and credit requirements will be sent to you by
e-mail.

The objective of the physical education course is to motivate students to adopt a balanced and active lifestyle that includes physical activity and regeneration in addition to routine and work-related activities, and thus helping to maintain the physical and mental potential required for successful performance at school and in everyday life. This objective can only be achieved by developing basic physical abilities and specific physical skills needed for specific sports and regular individual physical exercise. Care for the body, health, and physical fitness is perceived in the process of instructing physical education as a vital component of an individual’s personality.

  • Basic bicycle maintenance skills, simple repairs and adjustments
  • Practicing cycling techniques in different kinds of surfaces (uphill, downhill, fords)

Cycling trips in Prague and surrounding areas at a recreational pace in order to get acquainted with less frequented safe routes (biking routes and trails) and different places of interest. This is not a course of competitive cycling.

The ability to cycle safely. MTB or cyclo-cross bicycle in good condition. Cycling clothing and shoes, helmet, gloves, and glasses.
