Co-educated course on swimming styles. Difficulty levels divided according to individual
events: Non-swimmers and Beginners – mastering at least one swimming style;
Perfecting Swimming – mastering all swimming styles; Fitness - perfecting and
improving physical fitness, swimming endurance and strength.

The objective of the physical education course is to motivate students to adopt a balanced and active lifestyle that includes physical activity and regeneration in addition to routine and work-related activities, and thus helping to maintain the physical and mental potential required for successful performance at school and in everyday life. This objective can only be achieved by developing basic physical abilities and specific physical skills needed for specific sports and regular individual physical exercise. Care for the body, health, and physical fitness is perceived in the process of instructing physical education as a vital component of an individual’s personality.

Introductory information on safety in the swimming pool and water. Theory of movement in water. Practicing appropriate technique exercises + error correction, practicing swimming styles even out of water (non-swimmers). Using various swimming tools - swim board, flippers, hand paddles. Various ways of practicing mastered swimming technique and improving physical fitness.

Introductory lecture - safety, hygiene and theoretical mastering of stay in water. Practical mastering of basic swimming skills - exhaling into water, floating etc. Practicing and perfecting of all swimming styles.
