The requirement to enrol in the course is pass the test and write an essay on level B1.2.
It focuses on the development of both basic communication (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and academic skills in order to reach the expected level B2.1.
One-semester course, 1 sessions of 90 mins per week.
Aim of the course -

The aim of the course is to improve all language skills (speaking, reading, listening, speaking) at B2.1 level. Students will learn to understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics (health, travel, labour market, ecology), including technical discussions. Their oral expression will become more fluent.  They will be able to write comprehensible detailed texts on a wide range of topics and explain their point of view on a current issue, indicating the advantages and disadvantages of different options and expressing their wishes and requirements.

The basic structure of the course consists of the Vente 3 textbook, lections 1-6. Supplementary materials come from the preparation textbooks for the certified exams, grammar or vocabulary books, and original Spanish language resources. Appropriate lessons are supplemented with audio and video recordings. The course evenly practices all four language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing.
