The course is designed for students who have basic knowledge of standard Spanish at A1 level
It focuses on the development of basic communication skills in order to reach the expected level A2.
The course is taught in Czech and Spanish.
One-semester course, 2 session of 90 min per week.

Účastníci kurzu si osvojí všechny jazykové kompetence (čtení, psaní, poslech a ústní projev) na úrovni A2 dle SERR. Naučí se porozumět větám a často používaným výrazům vztahujícím se k oblastem, které se jich bezprostředně týkají (např. základní  informace o sobě, informace o rodině, o nakupování, místopisu a zaměstnání). Dokáží komunikovat v situacích, jež vyžadují jednoduchou a přímou výměnu informací o známých a běžných skutečnostech. Studentky a studenti kurzu budou umět jednoduchým způsobem popsat svou vlastní rodinu, bezprostřední okolí a záležitosti týkající se jejich potřeb.

The course ends with a credit. To obtain the attestation it is necessary to meet the following requirements:

                o regular attendance (75% lessons attended)

                o home preparation (revision, study of the assigned subject matter)

                o doing homework and meeting the deadlines

                o active work in class (participation, class materials)

                o test at the end of the semester (at least 60% of points)

The course consists of lessons 9 - 16 of the textbook Embarque 1.

Supplementary materials are provided from preparatory textbooks for certified exams, textbooks focusing on grammar or vocabulary, and original sources in Spanish.

Students will practice all four language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing.

Overview of grammatical and lexical units:

- present simple,

- past simple,

- comparison,

- prepositions,

- pronouns,

- modal verbs.

Vocabulary: urban environment, transport, food, leisure activities, clothing, weather and seasons.

Attestation of the Spanish A1 course (ASZSJ3001) is required for enrollment in the course. In justified cases, this attestation may be replaced by an entrance test.
