The course is designed for complete or so-called false beginners.
Its aim is to acquire basic knowledge of language and to achieve the A1 level.
The language of instruction is primarily Czech and then Spanish.
The course consists of individual lessons of the textbook Vente 1 Vente 1 (A1/A2) 2014, which are always supplemented by appropriate materials,videos and audios.
The course is one-semester (2x2h presence per week).

Cílem předmětu je dosažení všech jazykových dovedností (mluvení, čtení, poslech, ústní projev) na úrovni A1.  Studentky a studenti se naučí porozumět známým každodenním výrazům a zcela základním frázím a naučí se tyto výrazy a fráze používat. Naučí se představit sebe a ostatní a klást jednoduché otázky týkající se informací osobního rázu, např. o místě, kde žijí, o lidech, které znají, a věcech, které vlastní. Na podobné otázky budou umět odpovídat.

The course ends with a credit. To obtain the attestation it is necessary to meet the following requirements:

                o regular attendance (75% lessons attended)

                o home preparation (revision, study of the assigned subject matter)

                o doing homework and meeting the deadlines (checking in class or submission in Moodle)

                o active work in class (participation, class materials)

                o test at the end of the semester (at least 60% of points)

The course consists of lessons 1 - 7 of the textbook Vente 1 (A1/A2) 2014

Supplementary materials are provided from preparatory textbooks for certified exams, textbooks focusing on grammar or vocabulary, and original sources in Spanish.

Students will practice all four language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing.

Overview of grammatical and lexical units:

Spanish alphabet and pronunciation of individual sounds

Personal pronouns and introductions (formal and informal)

Feminine and masculine, gender inflection, plural formation

Present simple tense - conjugation of regular and irregular verbs, reflexive verbs

Basic and ordinal numerals

Description of a person

Expression of likes /dislikes

Prepositions of place

Vocabulary: greetings, adjectives to describe population, work and occupation, school and study, family and relationships, leisure activities, housing and furniture, days and months, daily activities
