Requirements to the exam -
Last update: Mgr. Šimon Dittrich (05.02.2024)

The exam is designed to show requested level of language knowledge and skills. The necessary level is that of a student of “Latin. Course III” (see the annotation).

The exam takes place in a written form (approximately 90 minutes): The student will be given an unfamiliar text. With use of a dictionary, s/he must show good orientation in the text, understand the message and translate one part of the text in a written form, answering grammar questions (focused mainly on syntax).

It is necessary to gain at least 60 % in the test to pass the exam.

Those students who have not attended the courses but have prepared themselves through self-study may enrol for the exam, too.
