The course is focused on the realia of the French-speaking world. In the lessons of this course, students will consolidate and develop basic language skills: reading and listening comprehension, speaking and writing.
The seminar assumes a very active participation of students, who participate in its creation. The language of instruction is French.

The course is intended for students with good knowledge of general French at the B1 / B2 level. The requirement to enrol in the course is write an essay on level B1.2.
This is a one-semester course, 1x2 lessons per week.

Studenti se v kurzu seznámí s vybranými tématy z oblasti reálií a kultury Francie a frankofonních zemí, budou se orientovat v aktuálním dění v těchto zemích. Prostřednictvím práce na těchto tématech studenti zlepší schopnost porozumění autentickým audiodokumentům, videodokumentům a textům, budou rozvíjet dovednost diskutovat o společenských a aktuálních tématech, vyjádřit svůj názor, argumentovat. Naučí se připravit prezentaci vybraného tématu ve francouzštině a toto téma samostatně prezentovat.

To obtain the attestation it is necessary to meet the following requirements:

  • regular attendace and activ participation in the course
  • regular work during the semester
  • presentation of a specific topic related to realia of French-speaking world
  • interview at the end of the semester
