V ZS 2023 bude předmět Úvod do starého jazyka představovat konkrétně úvod do anatolské jazykovědy. Seznámíme se s anatolskou jazykovou rodinou, jednotlivými jejími zástupci a jejím místem v IE jazykové rodině. Naučíme se práci s elektronickými zdroji k anatolským jazykům, zorientujeme se ve slovnícich a další sekundární literatuře. Seznámíme se též s knihovnou Ústavu a s prací s knihovními portály a informačními zdroji FF UK. Důležitou součástí předmětu bude úvod do chetitského klínopisu a čtení jednoduchých klínopisných excerptů. Podmínkou udlení zápočtu je kromě úspěšného napsání dvou písemných prací i vysoká účast na přednáškách.<br>
