The course introduces the psychopathology of mental disorders, their diagnosis, differential diagnosis and the possibilities of therapeutic influence, including the contribution of a psychologist.

Requirements to the exam

The student should submit a written psychopathological analysis based on the patient's case report. Pass the written exam (passing = more than 60% correct answers; more than 80% = 1, 70-80% = 2, 60-70% = 3).

1. /2.3./ General principles of medical classification of mental disorders. Psychosis, schizophrenia, schizotypal personality disorder and delusional disorders. Organic hallucinosis. Psychosis caused by the use of psychoactive drugs. 2. /23.3./ Mood disorders. Neurosis, stress-related disorders, somatoform disorders 3. /30.3./ Personality disorders. Mental disorders caused by the use of psychoactive drugs. 4. /13.4./ Dementia, mild cognitive impairment, delirium and other organic disorders. 5. /27.4./ Mental retardation Mental development disorders and mental disorders in childhood. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) 6. /4.5./ Eating disorders Gender identity discordance and sexual preferences Psychopathological analysis - elaboration and submission. 7. /18.5./ Written test (+ evaluation) and evaluation of psychopathological analysis
