The "Statistical Data Analysis" course serves as an advanced sequel to "Basic Statistics," designed to enrich and broaden the foundational analytical toolkit used in psychological and social science research. This course places a strong emphasis on:

- Cultivating critical thinking skills essential for the discerning evaluation of statistical methods and results.
- Hands-on experience with the practical implementation of complex data analyses.
- Mastery in the accurate interpretation of analytical results, ensuring a clear understanding of their significance and implications within research contexts.
- Participants will engage with a rigorous curriculum that not only solidifies their grasp of statistical concepts but also hones their ability to apply these concepts to real-world scenarios, ultimately fostering a proficient and thoughtful approach to the science of data analysis.

The course is structured to impart a foundational understanding and practical skill set for the application of mathematical and statistical methods in the empirical analysis of data across diverse facets of psychology, including research, diagnostics, therapy, and psychometrics. The objectives are to:

1. Grasp the logical structure and methodological underpinnings of mathematical-statistical analysis.
2. Apply suitable mathematical-statistical techniques tailored to specific data analysis tasks.
3. Interpret statistical outcomes accurately and meaningfully.

This introductory course on statistics for psychological research will delve into essential descriptive and inferential statistical methods. By the end of the course, you will have learned to:
