The course introduces theoretical and practical aspects of intonation analysis of speech using computer algorithms.
Requirements: knowledge of acoustics of speech, basic speech processing methods and statistics.

Výuka zahrnuje následující bloky:

1. Určování směru pohybu melodie.

2. Určování velikosti melodického kroku.

3. Určování intonačního rozpětí.

4. Synchronizace melodických událostí a segmentálních artikulačních úkonů.

5. Variace melodických kontur a jejich funkční platnost.

Předpokládá se důkladná zkušenost s poslechovou analýzou segmentálních a prozodických jevů. Student ji může získat v předmětech Poslechová analýza I a II.
