This is a block seminar in English which takes place within the initiative of Erasmus+: Blended Intensive Programme and will include students from several other universities. It is focused on medieval preaching. There will be 5 online meetings in April-June, followed by intensive physical session in July 11-16. As part of the seminar, students will attend the annual meeting of International Medieval Sermon Studies Symposium in Prague (https://imsss.net/). One full day will be devoted to manuscript study at the National Library in Prague.

Requirements to attend:
- fluent English
- interest in the Middle Ages (brief motivation statement)
- basic paleography and/or Latin knowledge

Requirements for attestation:
- brief presentation of an assigned manuscript
- brief (1 page) review of a chosen session of the conference
