In his work from the pre-critical time On the one possible Argument for the Existence of God Kant in tries to give his own argument for the existence of god. The aim of the course is to investigate Kant´s procedure by the development of this argument.

Ve spisu z předkritického období O jediném možném důkazu boží existence vypracovává Kant v sérii kroků svůj vlastní důkaz boží existence. Na rozdíl od Kritiky čistého rozumu je tedy v tomto období ještě přesvědčen, že je takový důkaz možný. Záměrem kurzu je analyzovat Kantův postup. Spis není přeložen do češtiny, ale existuje v anglickém překladu. Vedoucí kurzu bude dávat k dispozici svůj vlastní překlad do češtiny.
Podmínkou pro udělení zápočtu je pravidelná docházka do semináře a aktivní účast v semináři.
