This course is for students withh NO PRIOR knowledge of Czech who would like to acquire the basics of the Czech language. It can be followed by the Advanced Beginners course.

It is open to students from the FACULTY OF ARTS only due to limited capacity.
Aim of the course

By the end of the semester students will be able to introduce themselves and have a simple conversation about themselves.

They will be able to navigate around the city, ask for and give simple directions, aks for prices of foos and drinks, order and pay for a meal at a restaurant.

They will learn the days of the week and make simple arrangements and apologies.
