The course extends the subject areas of the foundation courses in Teaching English as a Foreign Language through detailed focus on practice-oriented and research-based approaches to the teaching of receptive skills (listening, reading, vocabulary acquisition etc.). It combines research and practice reviews with practical workshops on the teaching of related skills and techniques.

01 Úvod do problematiky čtení v cizím jazyce - vymezení základních pojmů, představení základní literatury a odborných periodik
02 Techniky čtení a jejich vyučování napříč úrovněmi pokročilosti; kognitivní, metakognitivní a socio-afektivní strategie
03 Metodika výuky čtení u začátečníků a mírně pokročilých (úrovně A1, A2, B1), zdroje vhodných textů
04 Metodika výuky čtení středně pokročilých a pokročilých (úrovně B2, C1, C2), zdroje vhodných textů
05 Slovní zásoba, její osvojování, strategie výuky, strategie osvojování slovní zásoby

07 Prezentace výsledků soudobého výzkumu v oblasti čtení v cizím jazyce
