Annotation - Czech
The aim of the course is to share experiences from own research activities, internships and conferences, critical reflection of current societal problems and their ethical connotations, with the possibility of finding the right ethical balance in various dilemmatic situations, as well as discussion of relevant professional texts and new professional literature. The doctoral seminar is held regularly in each year of study. In the first year of study, only passive Participation in the second year of study requires active participation and includes a presentation of the dissertation process followed by discussion with an emphasis on developing the doctoral students' ability to perceive ethical aspects in different fields. The doctoral seminar also includes a discussion of theoretical and methodological issues arising from PhD students' research projects. In the case of a foreign placement, the student is excused from participation in the doctoral seminar, but is not exempted from the obligation to of his/her own presentation. Due to the heterogeneity of the chosen and solved dissertation topics, the literature is provided to students individually by the supervisor.
