This text-based course is concerned with architecture or the theory of architecture in a philosophical perspective, however, with respect to the autonomy of both disciplines. Drawing on Heidegger's late conception of man and world, the course follows the idea that architecture manifests man's comprehension of world and himself as its part.

Jak je zřejmé z názvu, kurz se bude pohybovat na pomezí filosofie a architektury, resp. teorie architektury. Zaměříme se na prostor (nejen) v architektuře, na různé koncepce prostoru v teorii architektury i ve filosofii obecně. Těžištěm semináře bude práce s vybranými texty, které budou mít studenti k dispozici a které budou základem společného uvažování.
