Annotation

The course focuses on problems of social inclusions, social cohesion, diversity and variety of social and cultural frames in international context. The course is prepared as Blended Intenzive Program (BIP), which includes the online components as well as in-person seminars and workshops both at the PTF CUNI and the intensive seminar week abroad.

Aim of the course

The aims of the course are:

- reflect on own personal background and be sensitive to diversityd

- develop skills in anti-oppressive practice and human rights-based approach

- understand concepts in relation to sexual orientation, gender diversity, and gender sensitivity

- critically reflect cultural diversity

- understand interfaith dialogue, diversity in religions, and spirituality

- know how to act to reduce and prevent racism and discrimination

- develop skills to live together in local communities in solidarity

Course completion requirements

Work on mandatory tasks and homework:  

1. Personal biography by following the instructions on the Kick-off Workshop and enclosed presentation.

2.  Cohesion case study /initiative by following the instructions on the Kick-off Workshop and enclosed presentation

3. Active participation in all meetings, seminars, workshops and sessions on-line,  as well as international intensive week abroad

4. Final assessment
