The course deals with the structure, function and biochemistry of cells and tissues, respectively cell organelles (also in terms of cytopathology). The issue of cell differentiation is also discussed. The aim of the course is to acquire information about the structure and cell function and understanding the mechanisms of adaptive processes, basics of medical genetics, immunology and human ethology.

Předmět se zabývá strukturou, funkcí a biochemií buňky a tkání, respektive buněčných organel (i z hlediska cytopatologie). Je také diskutována otázka buněčné diferenciace. Cílem předmětu je osvojení si informací o struktuře a funkci buňky a pochopení mechanismů adaptivních dějů, základů lékařské genetiky, imunologie a lidské etologie.

The aim of this subject is to gain theoretical knowledge in bilogy of the celll (biomolecular organization of cells ( including enzymes ), composition of generalized animal cell,

cellular membrane structures - plasma membranes, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria etc.).
