The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of physics (especially mechanics) and their application in the field of biomechanics. Teaching focuses on topics such as vector operations, motion geometry and quantities describing motion kinematics, motion dynamics and its energy aspect. An important aspect is the influence of the environment on human physical movement.
If possible, seminars will be held in a computer lab focusing on deepening Excel spreadsheet knowledge and graphical solutions for working with physical variables.

Students should gain a basic overview of the biomechanical characteristics of sports movement, biomechanical diagnostics and evaluation of sports performance, the principles of analysis of sport performance. Stunedt Skills • calculate the coordinates of the center of gravity and the moment of inertia of the system of bodies • calculate the instantaneous and average values of kinematic quantities of other kinematic quantities for both sliding (including movement along a curve) and rotational movement • calculate momentum and monet of momentum (and kinematic quantities) from a known force (constant, variable) • describe the equilibrium/non-equilibrium state of forces and moments of forces acting on a system of bodies and determine force effects (sliding, rotating motion) • describe the effects (positive and negative) of pressure, friction and resistance of the environment • describe the effects of inertial forces • calculate different forms of energy (primarily mechanical) and its transformations, average and maximum power, efficiency • Knows procedures for processing data from basic biomechanical methods
The student is competent • when choosing a suitable method for analyzing and solving a problem • solve the mechanical task of a general (horizontal, oblique) throw (i.e. calculate length, height, flight time, etc.) • Based on the analysis of the problem, make recommendations in the didactic process (including health protection, analysis of mistakes in the technique of simple movements) Last update: Šorfová Monika, doc.
