Annotation -
The project focuses on developing creative thinking in audiovisual and film media in the context of contemporary visual arts. The emphasis is not only on the visual and aesthetic aspects of the work but also on the relationship between the temporal experience of the image and the construction of narrative. During the semester, the student works independently or in a group on his/her own original project, which is continuously consulted with the instructor. Consultations help to seek sources of inspiration, to explore the possibilities of the chosen medium across a range of expressive means, to place the student's work in a broader context, and to maintain a certain logical structure to the project. Intermediate ability with audiovisual software and camera is a prerequisite for the course.
