Syllabus -

1. Path integral in quantum mechanics:

definition of path integral, elementary aplications of path integral, discrete approximation and operator ordering problem, Wiener measure, linear harmonic oscilator, gaussian path integrals, linear harmonic oscilator in external field, generatin functionals and Green functions, connected and one partice irreducible Green functions and effective action, physical meaning of the effective action and adiabatic approximation, Wick rotation and finite temperature quantum theory, methods of evaluation of path integrals, perturbation theory, WKB approximation, fermionic degrees of freedom and Berezin integral, gaussian integrals over anticommuting variables
