The course provides a second semester of new material for more development of English skills focused on topics
in physics.
It is not necessary to have taken the first semester course.
Specific vocabulary, grammar, and style issues are geared towards the students’ abilities.
The course is included in the credit system of the Faculty.

Active class participation, regular class attendance and completion of homework assignments are required. There are two written tests and one home writing assignment for which students must achieve a score of at least 50% per test / written assignment. Topics in classical and modern physics are presented through student presentations and teacher handouts, supplemented by videos and in-class demonstrations. The material covers the history of physics, famous experiments, laws, principles, and famous physicists. More specific topics may be introduced depending students’ field of interest.
