Annotation -
Investigative journalism best fulfills the role of journalism as the watchdog of democracy. Investigative journalism is a long-term analytical work, unlike news reporting, slowly, emphasizing in-depth investigation, search, and work with resources. It deals with complicated social phenomena, their uncovering, and deals with topics such as economic crime, corruption, organized crime, financial crime and its effects on politics or economy. The course Investigative Journalism is an introduction to the issue of investigation, it presents examples of practice and with the participation of guests and present relevant cases.
