Annotation

The aim of the course is to strengthen the doctoral community through sharing of procedures associated with the program and mutual support in research activities. As part of the seminar, progress on dissertation research will be discussed, comprehensive reviews and discussions on student research activities will take place. Additionally, dissertation pre-defenses will be an important part of the seminar. The course will further offer guidance in academic professional development, including publication and teaching practices.

The content of the seminars is primarily determined by the program of comprehensive reviews (2nd year students) and dissertation pre-defenses (3rd and 4th year students). It is further complemented by the discussions of students' publication activities beyond their dissertation research.
