The aim of the course is to strengthen the doctoral community through sharing of procedures associated with the program and mutual support in research activities. As part of the seminar, progress on dissertation research will be discussed, comprehensive reviews and discussions on student research activities will take place. Additionally, dissertation pre-defenses will be an important part of the seminar. The course will further offer guidance in academic professional development, including publication and teaching practices.
